Sunniva, Zero Waste Pattern

Sunniva is a wide sleeveless dress with a gathered waist

Sunniva has a loose fitting, sleeveless top with an alternate button or tie closure, a knee length skirt and a gathered waist. The dress consists of few parts and is easy to sew.

This pattern can also be used to make a Sunniva top, if you extend the top to your desired length and remove the skirt parts.

Zero Waste

The pattern is designed to eliminate the need for printing the entire pattern. You only need to print one page and then draw the pattern directly on to your fabric. The pattern consists of simple shapes, and is constructed to leave a minimal amount of cut-offs and waste. The left over pieces can be used to make for example pockets or ribbons.

A standard Sunniva dress fits a size S-L with a total circumference of 109 around the waist. You can easily scale the pattern up or down, the pattern includes guidance for this.
