Thick fabric that has been treated with wax to make it water resistant. It has a very good structure and is perfect for bags and jackets. It is woven in the UK from organic cotton. This substance is dull and dry, the wax does not rub off, but should be pressed with the fingers and should not be applied to tile linen. It can be washed by hand, and can then be re-waxed to renew its water resistance.
